We can offer all aspects of protected species surveying and assessment. We are fully licensed to carry out surveys for bats, great crested newts and rare reptiles.

As bat specialists we utilise the latest bat survey equipment including ultrasonic lures, mist nets, harp traps, endoscopes, data loggers for both temperature and humidity. We use time expansion bat detectors, which allow accurate analysis and identification of bat calls using Batsound Pro software and our extensive library of bat calls.

We can provide expert advice based on practical experience of dealing with planning cases involving a variety of protected species and situations. We also have an extensive knowledge of the processes and systems involved including the completion of licence applications to Defra and interpreting the associated legislation.
